Security Services in Corpus Christi, TX Start With Where You Are in the City

Corpus Christi is the county seat and largest city of Nueces County, a Gulf coast city 130 miles southeast of San Antonio, with 317,863 residents at the 2020 census. Its boundaries take in Nueces Bay and Corpus Christi Bay, and its economy runs largely on tourism and the oil and petrochemicals industry.

That makes it a city of very different districts. A waterfront crowd, a cargo terminal, a school campus, and a new subdivision each need their own kind of protection. Tell us where your property is and what happens there, and we will build the plan from that.

Security by District

The Bayfront and Downtown

North Beach is home to the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay, and downtown has a museum district, Heritage Park, a center of marinas, and a First Friday Artwalk each month. Spring brings Buc Days, a festival that has drawn 120,000 people. Wherever crowds gather, entrances and exits matter most.

  • Event security with crowd management and entry control
  • Private event coverage for weddings, galas, and parties, and concert security for small to large venues
  • Patrols before, during, and after an event

The Port and Industrial Corridor

The Port of Corpus Christi is one of the largest ports in the country by total waterborne tonnage, with cargo that is mostly oil and agricultural products. Industrial sites run around the clock, and so does the need to know who is on the property.

The Southside and Growing Neighborhoods

The city includes a growing Southside, along with the distinct communities of Calallen and Flour Bluff. About 42 percent of the city's occupied homes were renter-occupied in 2020, so apartment properties are a large part of the picture.

  • Apartment complex security with on-site guards for patrols, entry-point supervision, and parking enforcement
  • Visitor logs, delivery verification, and security camera installation and maintenance
  • Alarm and video monitoring for nights, weekends, and low-staffing periods

Schools and Campuses

Seven school districts serve city residents in Nueces County, including Corpus Christi ISD, Calallen ISD, and Flour Bluff ISD. Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Del Mar College are the city's colleges. Our school security covers public, private, charter, and college campuses, with armed or unarmed officers chosen to fit each school's policies, and our guards are Safe School Trained & Certified.

Officers and Patrols

Systems, Monitoring, and Investigations

How Our Officers Work

Every patrol is logged. Clients receive digital logs of every patrol, incident report, and check-in on their mobile devices, and every officer is GPS-tracked. Field supervisors perform unannounced inspections to confirm guards are alert, in proper uniform, and following post orders. Before they reach a post, officers pass background checks, drug screening, and psychological evaluations, and they train in First Aid and CPR, active shooter response, and emergency evacuation protocols.
